In December 2000 I began to photograph the construction of the new Treasury building on Whitehall. A grade 2 (star) listed building, the Treasury was originally made in two phases between 1898 and 1908, and between 1912 and 1917.

The revamped building, designed by Foster and Partners, was completed in July 2002.
