At the invitation of Georgia's Minister of Culture, ten photographers (Martine Franck, Alex Majoli, Martin Parr, Alec Soth, Thomas Dworzak, Jonas Bendiksen, Antoine D'Agata, Gueorgui Pinkhassov, Paolo Pellegrin and myself) were invited to spend two weeks traveling the country in pursuit of a specific theme. The ten 'chapters' where then published in the book Georgian Spring.

My subject, 'Industry and the Economy', gave unprecedented access to some remarkable sites, and led to a number of chance encounters along the way.
